LOOKING BACK ON 2015
I love setting goals. Nothing really motivates me quite like a challenge pinned to the wall, so I love resolutions. But many people struggle with them, including myself occasionally. I have found that most important part of making New Years Resolutions stick is finding a way to make them a part of your schedule and measurable. For example, one of my resolutions is to reflect on my accomplishments and the things I’m grateful for. That’s a lofty and admirable goal, but it’s impossible to measure. So as part of that resolution, I have decided that once a week I will write in a journal five accomplishments and three things I’m grateful for. Now that is something I can schedule into my daily life, and it will help ensure that I can accomplish that goal. As I made my resolutions, I set a plan for every single one. I wrote that plan in my agenda and saved a photo to my phone so I can easily reference it! I’ll also pin a decorative copy to my bulletin board so I see it when I get ready every morning.
