VALENTIA TRUE GLOW EYE CREAM & ULTRA PLUMPING HYDRATION MASK
Today I’m trying a couple of skincare products from Valentia. The Amazon product pages for Valentia’s products all have some pretty great reviews so I was excited to give it a shot. I had the opportunity to try the True Glow Eye Cream and the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask. Eye creams are some of my favorite products to try because of the lifelessness I get under my eyes when I don’t sleep enough – which is all the time. I don’t use masks too often, but I’m trying to incorporate them more into my routine to help me shut down in the evenings. So, I was happy to add both of these products into my daily repertoire!
TRUE GLOW EYE CREAM. I really like this eye cream. I love that its a pump, its incredibly easy to use and I have noticed that it helps even out the darkness under my sleepless eyes. The pump puts out maybe just a little bit more than you really need, but I try to rub it evenly and then tap it into my skin. There’s this tingling feeling you get, which I love. I read some great reviews about this product before I tried it, and it does live up to the claims. Another I cream I loved was Clinque’s All About Eyes, and the True Glow Eye Cream is on par with that. I will absolutely use every single drop of this stuff, I really, really like it! I don’t know yet if I’ll look for another product to try after, or purchase the True Glow Eye Cream again. As far as eye creams go, it’s probably the most effective product I’ve found in its price range ($25 on Amazon) and even up a little higher. It’s fantastic.
ULTRA PLUMPING HYDRATION MASK. This product I’m a little more on the fence about it. It’s absolutely because I’m a texture person and the initial visual of the mask kind of grossed me out. It’s more of a bouncy gel than a cream. I tried it anyway, I’m not crazy about the smell, which I noticed some people liked. My skin was a little more hydrated after using the mask, but it wasn’t the biggest difference I’d ever seen in my life. I’m planning on giving it another good try, but I’m a wuss and have to prepare myself for touching the weird texture. (Don’t feel super put off on that, I don’t like silly putty or chalk either and corn starch freaks me out more than any other texture in the world. I refuse to touch it without gloves on. Cringing just thinking about it.) Anyway, it’s just a fair warning for my texture-phobic friends. So I’ll give the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask another couple tries and use a little more to get a thicker layer. It soaks in really easy, you almost don’t need to wash it off. Even if I do get stunning results from a thicker layer, I don’t think I could get it again because of the texture. However, if you like that kind of texture, you could totally give this a shot. I’d actually really love to see some more opinions on that aspect!
