I’m a very nostalgic person. I like memories and keepsakes and little reminders of things. I literally have boxes of ticket stubs, cards, ribbons from particularly special gifts. I’m currently trying to sift through the old piles and get rid of the memories I want to let go of and the remainders of times I’ve already forgotten.

Wanting a personal style blog seems like a natural extension of my obsessive nostalgia. For years now I’ve photographed outfits I’ve liked and wanted to remember. My iPhoto is littered with mirror pics of hundreds of outfits, some worth a photo, some not. I’ve always wanted to share those images, though. The first real attempt at doing that was through Instagram, probably my favorite app and definitely my favorite social network. Once someone told me I posted a lot of “selflies” and I was really confused, I never do, and then I realized they were referring to all the #ootd posts. Pictures of myself and pictures of what I’m wearing are two entirely different things in my mind.

November was a busy month for me scholastically. Most of the time my uniform was yoga pants and glasses, get up and go. But I squeezed in a few cute things. Here’s a round-up of what I wore last month.
