FRIDAY FAVORITES
I loved this gilded look featured on Stockholm Streetstyle the second I saw it. The photo is more artistic than simply showing off the spectacular outfits worn by SS’s typical subject. The jacket is also super cool, I would love to have it in my closet.
Check out more of my favorite products and posts from this week after the jump!
If you’re into cool handbags, check this out. It’s an old series that I stumbled upon that deconstructs designer handbags. This one links to a Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag. It’s a really cool article, but the website is hard to navigate, if you want to find Hermès and more, google “Anatomy of A Bag.”
My hair is pretty curly naturally, and I usually braid it when I shower at night, which is usually when I shower. So on most days, I’m dealing with a mess of curly hair going every direction. These curly hair ideas from Babble inspired me to try something new with my curly mane.
It’s no secret I’m a huge Chiara Ferrangi and The Blonde Salad fan. While I was sick, I missed a cool article about my favorite blogger. It discusses briefly how she got started and where The Blonde Salad is headed next. It hints at a revamped website. I’m excited to see it, but the description made me think some of the organic outfit posts that attracted me to her blog in the first place may vanish. I’m nervous to see the outcome, but hope that it’s wonderful.
If I could have anything I wanted right now, I’d have about a week long nap. But that’s impossible, so I’ll settle for the second best. A relaxing soak sounds like just the thing. This Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Honey Bath sounds perfect. If your not an almond or coconut fan, the Honey Bath comes in a few different scents.
I’ve taken to daily quotes, I write one down on my to-do list every morning to look back at when I’m feeling overwhelmed. If I could pick a weekly quote, it would definitely be this one, which highlights the importance of moving on. It’s a lesson I struggle with daily.
Lastly, it seems Kate Spade is gearing up with Ralph Lauren-esque goals in mind. I’m really excited to see what this means for the company, which is one of my favorites. I’m a huge Ralph Lauren fan as well, so my hopes are high!
