HASK CHIA SEED OIL COLLECTION REVIEW
Happy Monday, ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I’m talking about another hair care product and the last one I used before taking off for Peru. In fact, I think for probably 90% of the posts you’ll see until April will be under the influence of Hask’s Chia Seed Oil shampoo and conditioner.
HASK’S CHIA SEED OIL COLLECTION
THE REVIEW
I was super excited and couldn’t wait to try the Chia Seed Oil collection. My hair had definitely been lack luster prior and a little challenging to work with. I always just feel better if I’m able to get a little volume in my hair so I knew, if it worked, I would be a happy camper.
The Chia Seed Oil line is specifically designed to be both volumizing and moisturizing, which my ends definitely appreciate. But it’s not too moisturizing that I’m having to wash more often to compensate for the additional moisture leading to oiliness.
It took a couple weeks (3-4 washes) for my hair to adjust, but after that I did start seeing a bunch more volume. I was also much less frustrated when I styled my hair even on day two or three because it hadn’t gone totally flat and I could still manage it without an excessive amount of teasing.
Alone, I wouldn’t say you end up with 3 days of fully volumized hair. However, I did notice volume extended over a couple days when I paired the Chia Seed Oil collection with a volumizing moose and blow dryer. But that’s really what you would expect with any volumizing shampoo and conditioner, so I’m not mad about it at all.
I actually took a bit of a break from blow drying recently. I think I actually used it maybe 5-6 times over the last four months, 2-3 times while using the Chia Seed Oil line. And usually not on days we shot for the blog, so the photos you’ll see in the next couple months are actually just slept on, air dried hair. Although, I do have to tease at the back of my hair because of my gorgeous back-part. #ThinHairProblems
THE FINAL VERDICT
I like it! I’m totally into it. My hair is showing volume even when it’s pulled back without teasing, which is impressive. I love a good volumizing product, but most of my favorites are more expensive than this Hask collection. It’s great having something that works well without the high price that I can keep in my rotation.
What do you think of Hask products? Have you tried them?
