WORKOUT WEDNESDAY: MY FAVORITE YOUTUBE FITNESS CHANNELS
Happy March 1st, ladies! Can you believe it’s already March?! I’m just dumbfounded, the year is racing by faster than I can keep up! Anyway, today is also #WorkoutWednesday! Last month I shared my favorite heath and fitness related blogs, so today I’m sharing my favorite YouTube health and fitness channels! I have a few different categories of channels: channels that post workouts almost exclusively; channels that post health and fitness content; and channels I go to for specific kinds of workouts. For this post I picked two channels for each category, keep reading to check them out!

WORKOUT ONLY FITNESS CHANNELS
One of my favorite fitness channels that shares workouts almost exclusively is Nicole Perry. That name might sound familiar, because she is the author of Pumps & Iron, a blog I mentioned last month. Nicole’s platforms are some of my favorite because I can easily print out or save an image of her workouts when I won’t be able to or don’t want to watch the video. Or I can just pull up a video and get in a workout at home with ease. Since I adore her workouts, the combination is perfect.
A recent discovery is BodyFit by Amy. Amy incorporates a lot more equipment than I usually like, but she has a lot of workouts that are less than 15 minutes for a full round of exercises. Since I know incorporating more equipment will help me get more out of my workouts, I do want to make an attempt. The short videos are great to complement a cardio workout or some other workout I really enjoy and I don’t end up bored.
HEALTH & FITNESS CHANNELS
A good friend of mine introduced me to Love Sweat Fitness last summer and I’m so glad she did. I’m not a big fan of HIIT or similar workouts. But Katie has some great high intensity workouts that are super short so I get some of the benefit without getting bored by repetition. Plus, Katie’s lifestyle content is always inspiring, educational, and motivating.
I actually first discovered Blogilates years ago on Tumblr. I’m fairly certain it was when her business was really just getting started. But it wasn’t until about a year ago that I really noticed she had a YouTube channel and that it had great workouts and other related content. Actually, what I really appreciate (in addition to workouts, of course) are her hilarious fitness-related videos. I really like watching them after a workout or on the elliptical.
WORKOUT SPECIFIC FITNESS CHANNELS
These two are the newest to me fitness channels, but I came across them while looking for specific styles of workouts and I go back to them for those workouts. Boho Beautiful has a ton of health and fitness related content, but I adore her Pilates videos. I’ve talked about how picky I am with workouts before, but I especially love body-weight only exercises and core workouts. Juliana’s videos definitely fall within that so I quite enjoy it.
Yoga with Adriene shares, well, yoga videos. I’m really picky about my yoga preferences. I definitely appreciate the importance of breathing, self-love, and reflection that yoga emphasizes, but some instructors just get so mushy. Adriene has a pretty good balance and she also has some great targeted videos as well. It should come as no surprise that the targeted videos, like Yoga for Runners, are my favorite.
Of course, this cutie interrupts every fitness shoot! What are your favorite YouTube health and fitness channels?
