FRIDAY FAVORITES: LIVING FOR THE WEEKEND
Haaaapy Friday! Yay – blog post! Actually – two, but the second one is coming on Monday. But I can say that for a fact because I’ve already scheduled it. But the photos are kind of dated – listen, I’m trying my best over here. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though, I’ve officially crossed the barrier of the last year of design school. It has not been everything I expected, but I should be done around May next year and I’m so excited for next steps. Between work and school, I’m living for the weekend – well, Saturday bc I spend all day Sunday doing homework. I just can’t wait to actually wear the cute clothes I post about on the reg again.

This week I loved…
- I picked up some new shoes from Macy’s recently and I. Am. Obsessed. With. Them. Seriously – they’re so beautiful. I got this tortoise/crystal pair, this pair of green slides, these gorgeous white stacked geometric mules, and these super cute floral slip ons. They’re all linked with pics (though I’m not able to select the specific color way to show) in the “shop this post” section at the bottom of this post! Even though this living for the weekend life means I can’t wear them except on Saturday – you best believe I’ve been wearing them every Saturday since the mailman dropped them off!
- I’ve been having trouble with my concealer lately. My favorite products just aren’t working for me anymore. I picked up the Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer to try since I think dryness may be the culprit and I’ve heard good things about it. I’ve only used it once, but I liked the unset look (once I powdered, I got that weird flakiness again – so I guess I need a new powder as well!). I’ll keep you updated on my long term thoughts!

- I’m fantasizing about a home I can paint and decorate as I please a lot lately. I know I want every wall and ceiling to be painted in a bold color. Green, unsurprisingly, is a top choice. I’m loving the green mix in this space – olive + soft blushy tones will always be top tier for me.
- I LOVE the looks that Heather put together in her summer wardrobe essentials post!
- Keeping a consistent color theme is a great way to explore different aesthetic styles in a home without each room feeling disjointed. Check it out in action here!
- I still think about this post weekly. Read it if you’re feeling down.
Shop this weekend…
- The LTK sale is coming to the App on June 11 so make sure to follow me while I share some great finds!
- The Half-Yearly sale is happening now at Nordstrom and there’s so many fun finds! Go shop through the 6th!
- Always shop with Rakuten (not sponsored, but this is a referral link which you can get too if you’re a part). I’ve saved over $600 since using it, and I know I’ve missed out on quite a bit from not taking advantage of the in-store features as well. I’m working on getting better because it’s seriously so fundamental.
