THE $15 H&M DENIM SKIRT YOU *ACTUALLY* NEED
Happy Thursday, ladies! I know there’s a lot of posts coming at you this week, and really I can’t keep this schedule up long term. BUT, since Monday and Tuesday were sales focused and I missed all last week, I wanted to share a few extra posts this week to kinda make it up to you. I know these sales were super overwhelming, but there were some pretty good finds so hopefully you found something you liked. IF you didn’t though, I have the skirt for you. And even if you did, this skirt is more affordable than most of what I saw on the Nordy sale and Amazon Prime Day. So today I’m going to talk to you about a skirt I think is actually a wardrobe must have – something you can wear this season, fall, winter (weather depending), spring, summer, and next fall and like, forever, basically.

Okay, so obviously shown here is the denim skirt. I love it so much. I wore it about half the time on our trip (if not more), which is insane considering we were gone for about 13 or so days. It was filthy by the time I got home. It’s so stretchy, but it doesn’t stretch out; It’s super flattering and so so so comfy. Basically, It’s amazing. I’m wearing a size 6, I also tried on a size 4 which didn’t feel that different, but because it was white, I figured less stretch was probably a better idea.
Speaking of it being dirty, let me give you some laundry tips: you can wash it on delicate in your washer, but I would avoid drying it unless you can control the spin to be something very slow. Because the hem is unfinished, you want to prevent it from fraying a lot over time. I had mine in the dryer about 5 minutes and it didn’t snag much, but I didn’t like the fraying that was happening. I decided to hang it up to air dry and that worked out just fine! (And it’s more eco-friendly!).

Okay, I know it’s not exactly hard to think of a way to style a plain skirt, but I wanted to share a few that I particularly love that you can screen shot or jot down in a notebook for days when you just can’t decide. I’m going to focus these on a white denim skirt since I feel it is like this much difficult to style than normal blue denim, but most will translate really easily.
ONE. Graphic tee, fashion sneakers (think converse, Golden Goose, etc.), simple chain necklace, and tied up hair scarf/headband.
TWO. Knit tank, open toe mules, denim jacket, and pearl hair accessories.
THREE. Button front blouse, ankle booties, and statement earrings.
FOUR. Silky blouse or tank, “dressy” summer sandal, and pendent necklace.
FIVE. Crop or shorter length, loose top (untucked) and simple sandals.

So while we were in there the other day looking for the black skirt, we saw a few more cute options. Actually – Chris found quite a few. And I’ve had so much success from the one’s a picked up so I wanted to share these guys with you as well.
What do you think? Is this denim skirt on your list now?!
