LOOK FOR LUXE FABRICS
One of the easiest ways to make the pajama trend wearable is to look for the right fabrics. While cotton might be great for bedtime, it definitely looks like bedtime. Many other fabrics cut into pajamas can also pull very “just woke up” (different from “woke up like this”!). I find the best fabrics are satin and silk. My particular top is a silk pajama top which I think looks more casual than satin. It also feels amazing so, win win.

LIMIT IT TO TOPS
While it’s not impossible to make the pajama trend work for pants, it’s a lot easier to limit it to a top. There’s tons of pajama style tops that are a cinch to style. And oftentimes dressing up the pants requires more serious time on accessories and makeup, and higher heels. If you’re a women in a hurry and just want to play with the trend, without spending too much time considering how, stick to just pajama tops. You can style them pretty much just like any old button up – I just paired mine with white denim and some cute shoes. Honestly, too easy!
