BLUEPRINT BEAUTY: WINTER BEAUTY ESSENTIALS
Happy Fri-YAY, ladies! Are you so ready for the weekend?! I am! In today’s post, we’re talking beauty – hair, skin, and makeup, to be exact. During fall and winter, product choices change dramatically. Make up looks deepen up and become more matte, and our hair and skin need extra nourishment to combat the chill in the air. In today’s Blueprint Beauty post, I’m sharing my favorite winter beauty essentials.

NAKED HEAT PALETTE // CARGO HIGHLIGHTER // NYX BUTTER LIPSTICK // BARE MINERALS LIQUID LIP // TRÈSTIQUE LIP CRAYON // THE BODY CROP LIQUID LIP
MAKE UP ESSENTIALS
I love to deepen up my looks in the fall and winter. While in summer, I usually opt for dewey skin and subtle touches of eye shadow, focusing on coral blushes and lipstick, in fall, I love to mattefy my skin, deepen my eyeshadow looks and opt for plum shades in lipsticks. This season I’m loving the Naked Heat palette. The red tones are perfect for creating subtle fall looks, or more dramatic looks. I tend to mattefy my skin more in fall, but I love adding a warm-toned highlighter to the high points of my face to add drama. Fall is all about drama. In winter, I might opt for slightly cooler-to-neutral tones, still in the fall color palette.
BRIOGEO HAIR MASK // BRAZILIAN BUM BUM CREAM
HAIR & BODY ESSENTIALS
Hair and body are the skincare focus in the winter and fall. I dry out so fast as the temperatures cool down. So I love to pamper with hair masks. I always slather myself in a thick lotion after showering as well. The Brazilian Bum Bum cream smells like summer, but it’s still quite nice in fall. If you’re looking for more fall scents, I highly recommend checking out Bath & Body works!
LATHER HONEY MOISTURE MASK // FRESH ROSE FACE MASK
SKIN ESSENTIALS
My face doesn’t dry out quite as much as my body, but I still put a little extra effort into moisturizing. These two masks have been essentials for forever for me. But I break them out even more so this time of year. For subtle moisture, use the Fresh Rose Face Mask every couple of days. When it’s time to amp it up, I look for a charcoal or exfoliating mask or scrub to create and smooth base, then slather my skin in the Lather Honey Moisture Mask and sleep on it. I swear, I never wake up with better feeling skin than when I use that routine.
