FORMULAIC FASHION: FALL 2017, PART I

Happy Friday, ladies! I hope you had a wonderful week! This time of year, November, always brings me a sense of renewal that I find immensely satisfying. There’s always been some kind of magic in the air in November for me, I mean, I celebrated my 4th Blogiversary on Wednesday so there’s that proof! The last few – five or more – months have been weird, and I missed sharing posts and thoughts, but I just couldn’t get into it. But you can read that Blogiversary post to learn more on that. My point is: I haven’t shared any Formulaic Fashion posts for this fall yet, so I’ll be sharing all of those this month. Today, we’ll go ahead and start with the casual formula: Fall 2017 Formula #1.

This is actually the second time we shot Fall 2017 Formula #1 – the previous combined different pieces. So there’s a testament to the Formula’s practicality. The other photos came out nice, just not what I wanted for this month. Anyway an open-front cardigan is pretty much all the rage this season, you can find them everywhere. But I bet you can find them in your closet, too. A piece like this just doesn’t go out of style. Plus, you can reach for one in pretty much any season to top off a look. But for this season, a simple cami, skinny pants, and booties will give off no-fail, totally-effortless, chic vibes.
