Happy Monday, ladies! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’m super excited to be well into March now. Most of the initial shock that we’re three months into the New Year as worn off. Now I’m just super excited that Spring is officially just around the corner. Fall and Winter are always the seasons I look forward to the most for weather, but I just adore Spring fashion. The florals, the colors, the textures – it’s all so gorgeous! And in today’s post I’m taking all of those fabulous Spring features, and sharing them as Formulaic Fashion’s Spring 2017 Formula #1!

I’ve had this dress for years and I’m still just as obsessed with it as I once was. A flirty style like a swishy backless dress in a floral print will never go out of style. The Devil Wears Prada was not wrong. But even a solid color inspired by Spring blooms like rich violet or a teal blue will remain classic season after season. And paired with one or two more trendy pieces (like a heavily studded jacket), you can add even more interest to your look and still be ready for happy hour in no time at all.
