WHY YOU NEED A FUR COAT
Happy Tuesday, ladies! I hope you all are having a wonderful one! Mine is going pretty crazy already, there’s always just so much to do! Another little blog update is that posts may come a little later in the day than the normal 3:30AM PST for reasons I’ll explain later, but I just wanted to let you know so you don’t miss any! In today’s post, I want to talk to you about one of my favorite winter clothing pieces: fur coats. This post is all about why you need one!

A FUR COAT TAKES ANY LOOK FROM BASIC TO STYLE ICON
This might be my number one reason to wear a fur coat. It is just so infinitely stylish, it makes leggings look amazing. Which is great for me post holidays. >.< But really, swapping out a basic trench with a fur coat will give your look such a lift. Especially for special occasions, or when you just need a little style boost to get through the day, fur wont let you down.
A FUR COAT IS AMAZINGLY WARM
This is such a convenient bonus to the style boost. I’ll admit, I was freezing when we shot a few looks last weekend. But in this outfit, I was totally content. Don’t discount faux fur, by nature a faux fur coat is quite thick which makes it much warmer. Plus faux fur is less expensive, and available in a wide variety of colors and patterns so you can easily find something that suits your style and is amazingly cozy and warm.
A FUR COAT WILL NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE
People have been wearing fur, real or fake, forever. The warmth factor has really made it invaluable for those that live in colder climates, and because it is so necessary, it’s stayed trendy. It’s also a symbol of luxury, since there was a time when real fur was highly sought after and expensive by demand. These days real isn’t loved so much, but you can’t deny centuries of styles and style icons who have made the fur coat a staple. Of course, the colors and prints may change from season to season. But if you only get one, chose a warm brown or black and I promise, it will never go out of style!
What do you think about fur coats? How would you style one?
