HASK STRENGTHENING BAMBOO OIL HAIR CARE REVIEW
Happy Wednesday ladies! Thinks are ramping up over here as Chris and I are getting close to one of the big things we’ve been planning lately. Today will actually be quite the busy day prepping over here, but I’m excited to share the surprise on FRIDAY! So make sure to tune in! Today, I’m reviewing another Hask collection, the Hask Strengthening Bamboo Oil set!

HASK STRENGTHENING BAMBOO OIL HAIR CARE REVIEW
The Bamboo oil set is meant for strengthening hair, so I was really excited to use this one. Normally I opt for moisture and nourishment because I donate my hair. But I’ve been playing with styles lately (and working on some tutorials!), and my fine hair does not love it, so having something to add some bulk was a good decision.
So, as I said before, my hair is really fine. One thing I didn’t like about this particular product was that it added almost too much weight to my hair. It definitely felt like more hair was there, but I also had to wash it more. I don’t know that I can blame the product on this one though, because I’m notorious for tugging on and playing with my hair as a coping mechanism, and BOY was I stressed the last couple weeks! So I’m going to give it a go again, after things start to settle down.
I am happy to note I did not feel a ton of breakage when I brushed my hair wet (always with a wide tooth comb!). The sound and feel of hair breaking as I brush it wet crushes my heart, it’s probably my biggest beauty-related source of anxiety. I know, it’s silly, because my hair grows fast, but I hate having to wait years and years and years between donating, and if I keep it healthy, I can donate about every 2.5-3 years.
TLDR;
Despite the weigh, the Hask Strengthening Bamboo Oil set seemed to give my hair, if you struggle with breakage, try this. Just give it a healthy shot and really focus on conditioning. I’ve found that that’s the best way to prevent the breakage. Part of the set includes a bamboo oil deep conditioner, so I would definitely go with that, too.
The final part of the set is an oil. If it smelled amazing, I would probably grab it more, but it smells just fine. Meaning, it’s certainly not bad, but I about lost my mind over the Kalahari oil fragrance so it’s hard to top that. Plus, if you have thin hair, this collection is already heavy, and you could probably opt for the Macadamia or Manoi Coconut oil option to complement your strength with nourishment and moisture. If you have thick, course hair, but still struggle with breakage, definitely go for the bamboo oil, and let me know how it works! I’m infinitely jealous of thick hair!
Overall, I’m into this set. It’s not my favorite of the Hask products I’ve tried so far, but it’s certainly not a bad product and it definitely follows through on its promise. I give it a thumbs up!
