WHAT’S IN MY GYM BAG?

First, I use all sorts of random cosmetic bags to keep stuff organized. I just the exact same trick in my purse, and it makes switching bags so much easier. For my gym bag, I keep a lot in there and there aren’t really any pockets so the cosmetic bags make finding what I need a little easier.
In my gym bag, I keep:
- One large cosmetic bag
- One small cosmetic bag
- Fitness Midi-Mergency Kit
- Stay-cool towel
- Sweater
- Sweats (in the winter)
- Headphones
- Sunglasses & case
- Wallet/ID
- Running (only), or all workout shoes, in the side pouch
- An ankle and knee brace in case my old sprains act up
In my big cosmetic bag, I keep:
- Lotion
- Body spray
- Hairspray
- Dry shampoo (which I just ran out of, but thank you midi-mergency!)
- Deodorant
- Chapstick
- Pepperspray
- Extra shoelaces
- A protein/meal/energy bar or two
- Bobby pins and hair ties in a smaller cosmetic bag within
In my small cosmetic bag, I keep:
- Bandaids (way more than pictured, of many shapes and sizes)
- Sports tape
- Airborne
- Tampons
- Ibuprofen
I also have a midi-mergency kit from Pinch Provisions specifically for gym bags, which includes:
- Lip balm
- Mini dry shampoo
- Hairband
- Hair tie
- Safety pin
- Bandaids
- Emergency socks
- Bobby pins
- Folding comb
- Earbuds
- Tampon
- Pain reliever
- Deodorant towelettes
- Breath drops
- Blister balm
There’s definitely some duplication with the addition of the midi-mergency kit, but I tend to not dig into that unless I’m out of what I need in my regular stash. As the name implies, it’s a really tiny emergency backup. My gym bag is definitely a very prepared bag and I don’t often use everything in it, but I love having it just in case. It’s helped quite a bit in a pinch when I have an unexpected meeting pop up and have to clean up or get a little clumsy. I’ve also dug into it once or twice for a workout buddy. 😉
