FRIDAY FAVORITES
So Thomas Rhett’s album is pretty much the bees knees. I’ve been listening to it on my way to and from class and week and it’s just magical. This is probably one of my favorite songs on the record – although, it’s really hard to pick! But I did pick a handful of favorites – and one not favorite – for you this week!
There’s a sweet little chill in the air and my foot is finally healing so I am boot shopping. And I love it. I found this fringed Splendid pair from Anthropologie and they are gorgeous! But don’t buy them all out before I can get my hands on a pair. š
So I know this is a “favorites” post, but I need to PSA a not favorite. I read such good reviews about the Revlon Color Stay Liquid Eyeliner when I was on the hunt for something to replace my discontinued Mary Kay eyeliner. I was drawn the the Revlon version because the shape of the brush and bottle were the same, so I knew I would be able to use it without making a mess. But the formula sucks. It goes on fine at first, but if you try to touch up a line, it just rubs the color away. It’s like writing on top of writing on a whiteboard. I always have to go over it with black eyeshadow to get the clean line and it’s a hassle. The brush is great, the formula, not so much. So now I’m on the hunt for a new option! Suggestions?
I do hav a favorite make up product for this week though. Meet Matt(e) Hughes liquid lipstick by theBlam, is seriously the bomb. I got the color Committed from my Ipsy bag. I will be purchasing probably the entire color spectrum because it’s perfect.
The year is ending which means it’s getting real close to 2016 goal setting. 2015 caught me a little off guard, but I set my goals and I’ve been working toward them. I hope to set even stronger, more accomplishable goals next year. Tale of the Great wrote a really great article on goal setting with some cool worksheets. I also like the the articles by Single Moms Income and Levo, and the worksheet from The Cherished Life.
Happy Friday!
