FRIDAY FAVORITES
JOHN COUGAR, JOHN DEERE, JOHN 3:16 – Keith Urban
Wow, it’s been a whirlwind few weeks and there’s no end in sight. I went and (probably) fractured my foot. I’m keeping off of it, but it’s still no fun. On top of that, I’ve been a grant writing, article reading, science talking nerd recently as I’m working on getting my life figured out. No pressure. Honestly, I’m laughing at the ludicrousness of my schedule and activities lately. Also sleeping 10 hours a night. Stress Management 101. Anyway, you know me, and know I need a breather from it all every now and then, so here’s a collection of my favorite pretty things from the week!
My favorite product lately has been an ice pack. Just kidding. Kind of. Actually, I’ve been kind of crazy about the MAC blush I picked up in Peru last month. The shade is Pinch Me and it’s fabulous. I added a couple new blushes to my collection over the summer, but I’ve been too obsessed with Pinch Me to dig into them!
So I stayed at The Graduate Hotel in Tempe, AZ for a conference last weekend and it was so great. The room was so cool and fun and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I wish it wasn’t so far away, or I’d be there this weekend for a staycation to get all this work done! Seriously, though, if you’re in Tempe or checking out ASU, I recommend The Graduate!
So Pinterest led me to more great recipes this week. I’m a huge cider fan so this Sparkling Hard Apple Cider Sangria from Iowa Girl Eats looks amazing. For real, I think I could drink it by the gallon. I know I shouldn’t though, really I need way more water so I also appreciated this Infused Water Inspirations post by A Beautiful Mess. The combinations and photos make water actually sound and look delicious.
Question: So I’m shockingly bad at tech-y things. I’m definitely stuck in 2008. I’m a master googler, but I thought I would ask a broad question to the blogging community. Anyone with a MacBook Pro, are you having/have you had any issues with your trackpad? Mine just decides to not work sometimes and it’s driving me up a wall! Any solutions or suggestions or insight about the cause?
