ALL GROWN UP
Saturday was my 21st birthday. Honestly, I can’t believe it. It doesn’t feel as different as I expected it to! Ever since I was about 16, I’ve known exactly how I wanted to spend my 21st – wine tasting in Napa Valley. I was lucky enough to have my wish come true. I spent Saturday learning about wine in a gorgeous dress with my family and friends, while a limo took us to a bunch of great Napa wineries.
I actually learned so much about wine and about life. As far as liquor and beer go, I know what I like, but wine always seemed overwhelming. There’s so many options and I don’t like the grand majority of wines. I especially struggle with reds, which have a tendency to over power my sinuses. After this weekend, I feel like I can finally choose my own wines without a lot of trial and error and heartache and calls home. And I had a great time with family and friends. It was a day for the books and I’m so excited to see what the future has in store for me. 🙂 I want to thank everyone – family and friends and my loving readers and all the greats whose shoulders I stand on – for your love and support, without you all I just couldn’t be who I am. So thank you, from the very bottom of my heart.
