BLOG SPOTLIGHT: STYLE SCRAPBOOK

I read a lot of blogs. I love fashion and I love being immersed in a community with other’s who love fashion, too. I love seeing the different ways clothes can be used to reflect personality and dreams and passions. Sea of Shoes started it all for me, over half a decade ago. Now I have my own little place in the community, but I still like to reflect on just how I got here. One of my favorite bloggers since the beginning is Style Scrapbook.

I remember when Andy, Chiara (from The Blonde Salad) and Caroline (from Fashion Squad) teamed up for a collection of their own and a collection with Mango. It was really exciting to see some of my favorite bloggers work together. At that time, The Blonde Salad and Sea of Shoes were my most read blogs – I never missed a post. Soon after, Style Scrapbook moved from a blog I read every week, to a blog I read everyday.

Andy’s style is constantly evolving, but she always accesses sporty chic as easily as she does feminine. But it’s the sporty chic that keeps me coming back, plus the occasional music recommendations and all around humble attitude. She’s just very down to earth and it makes me want to keep reading to see more of her great personality and awesome sense of style. If you don’t believe me, just check out a few of my favorite looks. Most of them are pretty recent, but there’s more than a few gems in her archive.
