UPDATE FROM TEXAS
Flying with my dad is seriously one of the most stressful things, but it’s aways fun. |
The most exciting part of my trip to Texas is coming to a close. Not that an anthropology workshop isn’t exciting, I just don’t think it involves going to bed at 2AM, waking up at noon and doing it all over again. As fun as the go until you drop is, I’m excited to get back into a little routine and back to posting. Initially, I planned on drafting posts for the week so I wouldn’t go AWOL, but I just didn’t have time. I think sometimes you need to make the executive decision to live life and set other things aside. I’ve certainly been living the last couple days, check out after the jump to see some pictures from my Texas Getaway.
This is what I miss so much while I’m at school. |
And it’s not hard to see why I miss flying. I used my sunglasses to create a cool color wash when I took this photo. |
I’m in love with the Hydrator at JuiceLand. |
Another sunglasses-filtered shot of the Texas Sunset. |
Cliché travel dinner pic. |
I did my friend’s hair for the Blake Shelton show and I’m kind of obsessed with how it came out. Her hair is perfect for this look. |
One of my favorite parts of traveling: meeting new people! |
Cliché concert photo: Blake couldn’t play an old song without his cowboy hat, with a hidden mullet. |
This girl is the reason why I’m spending a week in Austin before my class. She was the first friend I made in Santa Barbara and has kept life fun and interesting ever since! |
The dress is Forever 21, the bralette is Victoria’s Secret Pink, and the belt is Old Navy. |
