NEW IN: RETAIL THERAPY
Last Monday I had a seriously bad case of cabin fever. Running errands over the previous weekend left me craving some time off campus and in the real world. So, despite having tons of work to do, after my classes on Monday I headed downtown for a little retail therapy. I got a cup of coffee and wandered around, it was really great to get out and I came home feeling refreshed. Anyone who claims shopping can’t be a real form of therapy, well they’re just crazy. 😉
I was mostly interested in this sports bra from Victoria’s Secret. I had rewards so I got it for a great price, and it’s wonderful. I wore it to the Butterfly Preserve this weekend and it was perfectly supportive for hiking and tree climbing, but also didn’t create the flat-chested-runner-physique my Nike bras create. I wouldn’t recommend it for running for that reason, but it’s great in other activities.
I was also hunting pants, they’re a big one on my shopping resolutions for this year, and luckily I scored two pairs that fit well. I was also looking for knuckle rings and found those at H&M. The scarf and tank top were great sales finds, and I’m a sucker for both scarves and simple tanks.
Finally, I’d like to make a call for your opinion on the current blog design, too. I’m working on a redesign and I’ve started over several times. I think I’m having a hard time giving up the green, but I’d like to use it in a more modern way. What are your suggestions and what would you like to see changed, added or removed?
