NEW IN: BEAUTY BUYS
I’ve mentioned that my mom is a Mary Kay consultant several times. She and her friends like the age-fighting skin care products and the makeup remover, which is one of my favorites too. I like Mary Kay products because I know I can try something new with only minimal breaking out. (I break out every time I try something new, no matter the brand. Some worse than others.) My skin is just so sensitive and oily. The last time she made her basic stock order, she called me and asked if there was anything I needed. The answer was definitely a yes. When I got home last weekend, I finally got to get my hands on my new goodies.

I was desperately in need of some quality brushes and I wanted a few new shapes to practice new looks. The brush set came with this makeup storage case with a detachable pouch inside. I also needed some new eyeshadow, the creme shadow in Iced Cocoa is my daily grab and go color and all I need is my fingers to apply it. I also wanted to try some other products and colors I had seen while browsing the website. Online window shopping for make up is my guilty pleasure. I already have some ideas for the next round, but this weekend I’ll be on the hunt for some cool ways to store my new brushes.
I also got a liquid eyeliner awhile ago that I had left home, I picked it up this time determined to learn how to do winged eyeliner. I had tried with my pencil before and it was a mess. I expected this time to be the same, but I buckled down last night, did some research and watched some videos, then tried it out. It wasn’t perfect, but I still got it the first time. The line was a little long but I knew with a q-tip and some makeup remover it would be good enough to leave. I’ll show you the results in my next post, which will include an outfit, too. 🙂
If you’re interested in any of these products and wish to purchase them from my mom, shoot me and email and we’ll get you hooked up. As of right now, she doesn’t have her consultant website available.
