WELCOME TO FASHION IN FLIGHT!
Starting this blog is something that I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. I think I first started seriously considering and thinking about it in 2009! I wanted to have a personal style blog, though, and I lacked the equipment for a well done blog so I kept putting it off. This year has been a hard year for me, a lot of negative things have happened and I’ve sort of lost my passion for a lot of the things I used to love, fashion included. And I don’t really like that. So starting this blog is my way of reclaiming my life and rekindling my love for something that has always been important to me, fashion.
WHAT YOU’RE GONNA GET
I want this blog mostly to be just a journal for my thoughts about fashion. One day I’d like to blog mostly about my personal style on a day to day basis. Obviously, the posts will reflect my style and I hope that it will be inspiring for others too. I’m really looking to express myself to a like-minded community. Post will reflect the things that inspire me and matter to me. Definitely I will link in some personal style posts, even if the pictures aren’t the highest quality and I hope that you’ll bare with me!
ABOUT ME
A little bit about me personally… I’m a Biological Anthropology and Portuguese double major at UC. I love both of my majors and enjoy incorporating them into my life outside of school (I LOVE skulls, not because they’re trendy ;P and I’m working on studying abroad in Portugal). Fashion has been important to me my whole life, even in my little tomboy phase, and I’ve never had a problem wearing what I want to wear even though my peers weren’t. I also learned how to sew, knit, and crochet when I was a little girl. My entire family is crafty and creative! A last fun fact, I can’t get away with sharing, is my love for flying! I got my certificate in October 2013, but have spent my entire life in airplanes thanks to my dad. When times get stressful, there’s nothing more relaxing than that physical separation from problems on the ground!
I hope you enjoy what comes next!
